New versions of your apps appear in the App Store. Software updates for the phone arrive over the air. One tap to install, best on Wi-Fi. After a phone update it may run a little slower for a few minutes while everything settles in.

Yes. Turn on the optional blocks you want when you build your phone: pictures in Google Maps, Gemini in Messages, or the hotspot.

Why can't I pick some apps?

A few apps don't run on this phone. They are marked "Not supported".
