TiQ Mini M5 Kosher Phone: Everything You Need to Know

If you're searching for a kosher TiQ phone, a kosher M5, or specifically the kosher TiQ Mini M5, this guide covers exactly what you get, how the kosher setup works, and what it costs — no guessing.

What is the TiQ Mini M5 kosher phone?

The TiQ Mini M5 is a compact Android keypad phone — real touchscreen, real Android 13 underneath, but built and shipped as an M5 kosher phone: every app on it is chosen by you before it ships, installed by hand, and then the phone is locked so nothing else can be added afterward. It's not a stripped-down "dumbphone" — it's a normal capable Android phone with the app list under control from day one.

How the kosher setup works

Every TiQ M5 kosher order starts with a standard list of everyday apps — Phone, Messages, Camera, Gallery, Calculator, File manager, Google Maps, Waze, Android Auto, Weather, Calendar, Gmail, Uber, and a few Yiddishkeit basics like Zmanim, Siddur, and Hebdate. You can uncheck anything on that list you don't want.

From there you can add up to 15 extra apps at no added cost — banking apps, WhatsApp, travel apps, whatever you actually use — and each app past that is a flat $2. We also offer optional blocks at checkout if you want to go further, like blocking Google Chat inside Gmail, blocking Gemini in Messages, blocking photos inside Google Maps, or blocking the phone's hotspot.

Once it ships, the app list is final — nothing can be installed or reinstalled from the phone itself. If you need something added down the line, we do remote installs starting at $30.

Price and shipping

The kosher TiQ Mini M5 is $295, unlocked, ready to use on any major US carrier or your own SIM. Shipping is a flat $5 for one or two phones (it scales up gradually for larger multi-phone orders), and everything is locked down before it ever leaves our hands — you're not koshering it yourself after the fact.

TiQ M5 kosher — frequently asked questions

Is the TiQ Mini M5 kosher out of the box, or do I need to kosher it myself?

It ships already kosher. We install exactly the apps you choose and lock the phone before it ships — there's no separate koshering step for you to do.

Can I add an app after I already have the phone?

Not from the phone itself — the app list is locked once it ships. We can remotely install an approved app afterward starting at $30.

Does the kosher TiQ Mini M5 work with my carrier?

Yes — it's fully unlocked and works on Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and most MVNOs that run on those networks.

What's the difference between the kosher TiQ M5 and the kosher Qin F21 Pro?

The M5 runs newer Android (13 vs. 11), has the stronger network connection of the two, and supports a few apps the F21 can't run (Chase, Amex, KeyBank, Hyundai BlueLink). Otherwise the kosher setup process is identical on both phones. See our Qin F21 Pro kosher phone guide for the full comparison.
